Exploring Education Beyond the Classroom
This Erasmus-funded bilateral project between Iceland and Poland brings together humanitarian and educational organizations to rethink and reshape the way we approach learning. Moving beyond the traditional classroom, this initiative challenges mainstream educational structures and encourages the development of creative, community-centered, and socially responsible education.
Participants—including international students, teachers, and university representatives—will collaborate in a dynamic working group focused on entrepreneurship in education. They will explore innovative teaching methodologies that integrate social values, sustainability, and real-world problem-solving into the learning process.
A New Vision for Education
This program is designed for those who believe that education should go beyond textbooks and rigid structures—that it should instead inspire curiosity, creativity, and active participation in society. It will emphasize:
Experiential Learning – Hands-on activities, workshops, and outdoor learning experiences that bring education to life.
Socially Responsible Education – Placing community and societal values at the core of learning, ensuring that education serves a greater purpose.
Creative & Entrepreneurial Approaches – Encouraging innovation in education, helping participants design new models for learning that break away from traditional systems.
A Collaborative & Impactful Experience
By bringing together diverse perspectives from Iceland, Poland, and beyond, this Erasmus project fosters cross-cultural exchange and collective innovation. Participants will gain not only new skills and ideas but also a network of like-minded educators and changemakers who are committed to transforming education.
Through this collaboration, the project aims to empower educators and learners to take an active role in shaping the future of education, ensuring it is adaptable, inclusive, and deeply connected to the needs of society.
